St.ART - London Street Art

It seems that there is as yet no simple definition of 'street art'. This set of photos shows street art of many forms, stencils, paintings , posters, stickers, installations and general street furniture, commissioned and non commissioned work, legal and illegal. It covers the whole spectrum from the minute work to the building sized pieces, anything that has caught the eye and integrated itself with it's surroundings. The majority of photographs here were taken using a Holga 120 CFN 'toy camera' as this produced the most interesting and distinctive style of image. The Holga uses 120 medium format film producing 12 shots per roll, which makes this project an expensive one, but one of the most enjoyable. No particular artist has been targeted, although there are several collections by certain known artists and many other singular pieces by artists unknown. Of the known artists there is work by Ben Eine, Banksy, C215, Roa, Toaster, Stik, Mr Brainwash and David Walker.

The photos from above have now been lovingly bound in a shiny, hardback book, 98 pages, 21cm x 21cm and full of colour..............St.ART - the book.
